The sixteenth annual Pacific Northwest Numerical Analysis Seminar (PNWNAS), formerly called the Numerical Analysis Potlatch, will be held on Saturday September 28, 2002 at the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. This series of one day meetings has been held at various locations in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia annually since 1987.

This year's meeting features two invited speakers from outside the region:

  Volker Mehrmann, Institute for Mathematics, Technical University Berlin
and  
  John Gilbert of the MIT Laboratory for Computer Science, Cambridge and the Department of Computer Science, University of California, Santa Barbara.

In addition, five talks will be given by speakers from the Pacific Northwest region.

Advance registration is required. Please complete the registration form. The conference registration fee (which must be prepaid) includes two coffee/juice breaks and lunch.

There is an additional charge (which also must be prepaid) for the conference dinner, which will be held in the evening of Saturday September 28.
